About

Horse Shoe Lagoon offers camping sites along Gunbower Creek with few facilities and no toilets, spread out a few hundred metres either side of the site’s central location. A tranquil spot to enjoy self-sufficient camping, picnicking or a spot of fishing in beautiful surrounds right on the creek. As there are no toilets, you must bury either bury your toileting waste at least 100m from the creek into a 20cm deep hole or bring your own portable toilet or waste containers to dispose of off-site. Boil your water before drinking and please take your rubbish home as there is no rubbish collection service.
